Woods claims 400 meter dash title, helps NDSU to 11th straight Summit Indoor Championship

Fargo – Former Parshall High School standout Alexis Woods claimed the 400 meter dash title in convincing fashion at the Summit League Indoor Championship on Saturday.

Woods improved on her runner-up finish in last years event by running a blistering 54.41 to pace the field. Her time was over a second faster than runner-up Amanda Levin’s (NDSU) time of 55.84.

The standout senior was also a member of the 4 x 400 meter relay team that also claimed 1st place. Woods has been a member of the 4 x 400 championship relay team for the last three seasons.
