Crosby – Stanley scored a 54-35 road win over Divide County in girls basketball.
The Blue Jays used a 16-8 run in the second quarter to build a 10 point halftime lead, a lead that the Blue Jays would expand on for the rest of the game. Sophomore Abby Iverson had 19 points, while senior Lacey Meiers added 11 points to lead the Blue Jays offensively.
“We are happy to get a nice district win over Divide County,” said Stanley Blue Jays coach Kelly Roemmich. “We still have a few things to improve on if we are going to get to where we want to be at the end of the season.”
The Blue Jays host Ray on Thursday in another district game.
