Stanley – The Stanley Scholarship Fund has a nice list of scholarships available to Stanley High School students.
Here is a list of the available scholarships and their criteria:
Judson Boyd Memorial – Stanley High School Senior that will be attending any ND College, University, or Trade School.There is no GPA requirement. Will look at essay, school and community involvement, and full/part time summer employment. Will be awarded after completion of first semester.
Stalnecker Memorial – Stanley High School Senior with at least a 3.0 GPA; Will be awarded after 1 successful year of college.
John Peterson Memorial -Years Active in 4-H; Intent to pursue Ag-related career, open to any Mountrail County graduate.
Grande Family Scholarship – Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Combined academic, extra curricular activities, community involvement and demonstration of leadership and character. Must attend 4-year college, university, 2-year college or vocational college. 1 page essay discussing how your involvement in extracurricular activities will prepare you for a future in entrepreneurship.
Stanley Schools Endowment Fund – Stanley High School Senior with a GPA between 2.25-3.25; Leadership, Community Involvement.
Stanley Schools Endowment Fund– $300 High Honors $150 Honors. Automatic Award based on GPA and college enrollment.
Lawrence Elefson Memorial – Stanley High School Senior with GPA of 2.75-4.0, attendance, community involvement, and extra curricular involvement will all be taken into consideration. Must be attending ND college or university.
Stanley Farmers Elevator – Sons & Daughters of farm or ranch families who are to graduate from Stanley High School. Combined academic, extra curricular activities, community involvement, and demonstration of school and community leadership and character. ACT scores, GPA, and essay are taken into consideration.
Town and Country – Scholarship is available to all seniors who plan on attending post-secondary school.
1st Presbyterian Church – Scholarship is available to all seniors planning on attending a 2 or 4 year college. Community and school involvement will be taken into consideration. Scholarships will be awarded after completion of 1st successful semester of college. Preference to students attending Jamestown college.
Erling W. Korterud Memorial – Stanley High School Graduating Senior with NO other scholarship to date; GPA of 2.25-3.25; demonstrate financial need; Established career goals.
Ray Rude – The Ray Rude Dollars for Scholars Scholarship will be available to Stanley High School seniors who plan to attend any college.
Bluejay Scholarship – All Stanley High School Graduating seniors are eligible to apply. Payable after the first semester of college.
Eckstrom Memorial – Applicant must complete one semester of college before applying. Must have been High School honor graduate.
John & Alice Anderson Homestead Scholarship– Scholarship requires all pages of application completed.
