The North Dakota State Bison Football team is fresh off a huge national televised win over #13 ranked Iowa on ESPN 2, and the speculation has already started to heat up that the Bison will once again find themselves hosting the popular morning show “College Gameday” in Fargo.
ESPN College Game is no stranger to North Dakota State. The producer of show, Lee Fitting has been vocal in the past about his positive feelings towards Fargo and his eagerness to continue coming up. Fitting sent out a tweet following the National Championship regarding the return of College Gameday in ’16. The Bison also a shout out from one of the announcers on ESPN 2 following the Iowa win about the possibility of game day returning this season. The College Gameday crew was itching to get back to Fargo anyway, a win over nationally ranked Iowa should help make a return trip to Fargo a reality.
The possible dates include: 10/1 vs. Illinois State, 10/15 vs. South Dakota State or 11/5 vs. Youngstown State
I would expect to hear something from Fitting before too long.
