Jamestown- The North Dakota State High School Cross County Meet took place today in Jamestown, both the Stanley Boys and Girls Cross Country teams had strong individual and team finishes.
The Stanley Blue Jay Boys Cross Country team took 17th place overall as a team, the Blue Jays had 3 top 100 finishers overall Carlos Gomez (56th), Travis Dean (79th), and Kaydin Meiers (100th). The Blue Jays finished with a team score of 563.

The New Town Eagles Boys Cross Country team continued their dominance by securing 5 of the top 6 spots over all, the Eagles cruised to the North Dakota Class “B” State Cross Country Championship with an impressive team score of just 18 points. New town also had 8 of the top 25 individual times.

The North Dakota State Championship Class “B” Girls Cross Country Meet
The Stanley Blue Jays Girls Cross Country team competed at the State Championship meet as well. The Blue Jays girls would finish in 10th place overall and were paced by an impressive 21st place individual finish by Shambre Feiring. Stanley had three other top 100 runners; Grace Bates (60th), Hannah Sorenson (77th), Elle Sorenson (89th). The Blue Jays finished with a team score of 354.

The Hillsboro-Central Valley Girls Cross Country team took home the Championship with a team of 133. Hillsboro had 3 runners finish in the top 15, (Reagan Baesler (1st), Gracie Wright (10th), and Jensyn Zink (13th).
