Stanley Blue Jay Alumni (weekly report): Roehrich leads Dragons to road victory

University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks Volleyball (Chai Pappa)

The Fighting Hawks picked up a couple of nice home victories over Eastern Washington (3-0) and Idaho (3-1). UND is now 21-9 overall and 12-2 in Big Sky Conference play.

Next Week: The Fighting Hawks will travel to Northern Arizona (Nov. 10th)  and host Northern Colorado (Nov. 12th)

Last Week: The Fighting Hawks picked up a 3-0 road victory over the North Dakota State Bison on Tuesday, and then picked up another road victory over the University of Montana 3-1 on Friday. UND finished off the week on a high note by picking up another road victory over Montana State (3-0).

Minnesota State Moorhead Dragons Football (Abe Roehrich)

The Dragons took home a very nice 42-41 road victory over the Bemidji State Beavers, the win moves the Dragons to 6-4 on the season.

Abe Roehrich had a game high 15 tackles to lead Dragons to victory. Roehrich now has 79 tackles on the season, which leads the Dragons.

Next week: The Dragons will wrap up the regular season at home next Saturday against Northern State.

Last week: The Dragons rolled over the Minot State Beavers 42-24 this week to move to 5-4. Abe Roehrich finished 2nd on the team with 6 tackles including 3 solo tackles.

 

University of Mary Mauraders Football (Landon Smith)

The Mauraders fell to the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs 75-14. The Bulldogs are one of the strongest D-2 programs in the country (#18).

Landon Smith added four tackles for the Mauraders.

Next Week: The Mauraders will travel to Minot State to wrap up their regular season.

Last Week: The Mauraders fell to Northern State 52-7 at home. Landon Smith recorded 3 tackles for the Mauraders

 

Dickinson State Blue Hawks Football (Jayd Rice, Sam Footh)

The Blue Hawks picked up a 41-28 road win over the Mayville State Comets.  The Blue Hawks improve to 8-2 overall and 6-0 in conference play.

Next Week: The Blue Hawks travel to Jamestown to take on the Jimmies in their final regular season game.

Last Week: The Blue Hawks fell to Black Hills State on the road.

 

University of Jamestown Jimmie Football (Matthew Heidbreder)

The Jimmies picked up a road victory over Waldorf University (20-14). The Jimmies are now 4-6 on the season.

Next Week: The Jimmies will host the Dickinson State Blue Hawks in their regular season finale.
