North Dakota Class B Basketball Polls released

The North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association released their latest Class B Basketball polls on Tuesday.

Four Winds- Minnewakan (Boys) and North Star (Girls) continue to lead both polls and are both undefeated.

North Dakota Class B Boys Basketball Poll (January 2)

  1. Four Winds-Minnewaukan (13) 4-0 130
  2. North Star 4-0 92
  3. Dickinson Trinity 5-1 81
  4. Shiloh Christian 4-1 79
  5. Thompson 4-1 56
  6. Hillsboro-Central Valley 4-1 49
  7. Northern Cass 4-1 49
  8. Linton-HMB 4-0 45
  9. St. John 4-0 39
  10. Carrington 5-0 33

Others Receiving Votes: Milnor-North Sargent (4-0), Bishop Ryan (2-1), Grafton (4-1), New Rockford-Sheyenne (5-2), Des Lacs-Burlington (2-2), Hankinson (6-1), Beulah (3-1).

Notes: The Des-Lacs Burlington Lakers (boys) received votes, the Lakers will face the Stanley Jays on January 20th in Stanley.

North Dakota Class B Girls Basketball Poll (January 2)

  1. North Star (8) 9-0 120
  2. Park River-FL (2) 8-0 114
  3. Shiloh Christian (1) 6-0 102
  4. Kindred (2) 7-0 91
  5. Carrington 8-0 89
  6. Grant County 8-0 58
  7. Langdon/Edmore/Munich 7-1 47
  8. LaMoure-LM 7-1 35
  9. Oak Grove 7-1 16
  10. Our Redeemer’s 5-1 14

Others Receiving Votes: New Town (8-1), Rugby (8-1), Bishop Ryan (4-3), Enderlin (7-1).

Notes: The New Town Eagles received votes, the Eagles will host the Blue Jays on January 21st.

–The Class B boys and girls basketball polls are voted on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NDAPSSA).
