Stanley cruises past Westhope/Newburg

 Westhope – The Stanley Blue Jays hit 8 3-pointers en-route to a 80-66 road victory over the Westhope/Newburg Sioux in boys basketball.

The Blue Jays hit 6 of those 3-pointers in the first half, helping them build a 45-31 lead which they maintained in the second half.

Wyatt Hanson had a game high 22 points to pace the Blue Jays. Matt Patten had a season high 19 points, Kaedyn Hanson added 17 points to help guide Stanley to the win.

Stanley moves to 4-3 on the season with the win, the Blue Jays will take on the Watford City Wolves tomorrow in the Ray Shootout. Westhope/Newburg moves to 2-4 and will travel to Bottineau on January 19th.
