Minot – Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood sophomore Isaac Undlin picked up his 1000th career point in convincing style on Saturday.
The 6’5 forward drove past a defender on the baseline and slammed home a dunk to clinch the career milestone, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Following the dunk the game was temporarily stopped so that the both teams could recognize Undlin’s accomplishment.
Undlin is off to an impressive start to his prep career and it appears that scoring points at an impressive clip runs in the family. Undlin’s father Dustin was named Mr. Basketball after eclipsing the 2000 point mark during his tenure at Mohall. Both of Undlin’s parents played college basketball at Northern State University.
Undlin finished the game with a team high 12 points for the MLS Mavericks.
The Mavericks will host Our Reedemer’s on Tuesday.
