Stanley – Stanley’s Ryan Nesheim has decided to continue his football career at the collegiate level, the Blue Jay senior signed his Letter of Intent to join the University of Mary Marauders Football team next season.
Nesheim was an All-Region honorable mention last season for the Blue Jays, he also served as one of the team captains. The senior also competes for the Blue Jays in basketball and baseball.
“He has the size, frame, and especially the work ethic to excel within the University of Mary Football program, said Stanley Blue Jay Football coach Bob Bartz. I am really excited to watch him succeed at the next level.”
Nesheim is the third player off of last year’s Stanley-Powers Lake Blue Jay Football team to commit to a collegiate football program. Logan Aadnes recently committed to Dickinson State University and Tate Enget committed to Valley City State University.
This will be the fifth consecutive season in which the Marauders have a Stanley Blue Jays on their roster, former Blue Jay standout Landon Smith recently wrapped up a stellar career for the Mauraders.
