North Dakota Class B District 15 (First Round Scoreboard)

Williston – The Parshall Braves jumped out to a big lead early enroute to a convincing 53-18 victory over the Trenton Tigers in the first round of the District 15 Tournament.

Junior Billy Moran poured in a game high 17 points in only 14 minutes to pace the Braves.

The Braves will face New Town in the semifinals tomorrow night at 6pm. Trenton will face Watford City in the loser out game at 3pm tomorrow.

Williston- The New Town Eagles held off of late charge by the Watford City Wolves to advance to the semifinals of the District 15 Boys Basketball Tournament.

The Eagles hit twelve 3-pointers, 7 of which came in the second half. The Eagles led by 12 points with under six minutes left in the game.

Junior Daniel Lebeau Jr. scored 27 points to lead all scorers, including four 3-pointers.

Senior Cole McGorman paced the Wolves with 21 points,  junior Jaydn Ewing grabbed a game high 13 rebounds to go along with his 16 points.

The Eagles will face Parshall at 6pm tomorrow night, The Wolves will face Trenton in the loser out game at 3pm.

Williston – Mandaree jumped out to a 10 point lead against the Trinity Christian Crusaders in the opening round of the District 15 Boys Basketball Tournament, but the Crusaders would rally back to advance to the semifinals.

Trinity Senior Austin Smith led all scorers with 26 points, fellow senior Beau Skurdal chipped in a double-double (15 points, 14 rebounds) to lead the Crusaders.

Sophomore Ashton Grady paced Mandaree with 16 points.

Williston – North Shore picked up a 64-53 win over White Sheild in the opening round of the District 15 Tournament.

Hart Andes lead the way with a double-double (21 points and 13 rebounds).

Fredrick Fox paced White Shield with 16 points.

North Shore will face Trinity Christian at 7:30pm tomorrow night (Saturday) in the semifinals.
