Stanley – The Stanley High School Bond vote is only one week away (March 7th). There will be one more informational meeting on March 2nd (Thursday) at 7pm (High School Commons).
Both sides of the debate have started to heat up their efforts to get their message out to potential voters.
The Stanley YES! Committee has released a video that highlights some of the needs the school faces.
The Stanley YES! Committee has also been trying to get their word out through social media and through a website VoteYesforStanleySchools.com
A Facebook page has been created called “Families First: No to Stanley’s School Bond” and it has been very active lately as well.
That page appears to be focused on making sure that voters are aware of the negative consequences associated with taking on more debt.
Both sides of the debate are putting on the full court press in hopes of getting their message out to potential voters. If you are interested in learning more information I encourage you to check out both sides and the resources they are putting out. I also encourage you to attend the final informational meeting and ask questions.
