Stanley High School Bond referendum fails by wide margin

Stanley – The Stanley High School Bond referendum failed by a large margin on Tuesday.

The “NO” vote secured 568 votes (75.9%), while the “YES” vote only secured 180 votes (24.1%).

There 748 ballots cast including the absentee ballots.

These results are unofficial but it is probably safe to call this one in favor of the “NO” vote.

The bond referendum failing doesn’t come as much of a surprise, however the wide margin of victory for the “NO” side is probably a bit of a shocker to most.
