Ranchers cruise past Crusaders, Honkers and Braves set to meet in semifinals

Williston – The Powers Lake Ranchers led wire-wire en-route to a 57-33 victory over the Williston Trinity Crusaders in the opening round of the Region 8 Boys Basketball Tournament.

The Ranchers held the Crusaders to just 9 points in the first half, limiting the crusaders to just 22% from the field. Things wouldn’t get a whole lot better for the Crusaders in the second half, where they would shoot just 2 of 17 from 3-point range.

Senior Logan Klitzke chipped in 13 points and 15 rebounds for the Ranchers. Senior Beau Skurdal picked up a team high 13 points to lead the Crusaders.
