New Town and Hillsboro/Central Valley grab cross country titles, Rolfe earns All-State honors

Valley City – The New Town Boys and Hillsboro/Central Valley Girls took home team titles at the North Dakota State Cross Country Meet on Saturday.

This is the sixth straight year that the New Town Eagles have claimed the championship on the boys side.

Sophomore Reagan Beasler won the girls individual title by 32 seconds (18:28). Junior Jaiven Hale took home the boys title with a time of 16:03

Stanley freshman Noah Rolfe claimed a spot on the North Dakota Cross Country All-State team by finishing in 14th place (17:17).  He paced the Blue Jay boys team which finished in 25th place.

The Stanley Blue Jay girls team finished in 9th place overall. Junior Shambre Feiring paced the team with a 24th place finish.
