Blue Jays remain atop Class B basketball poll

The North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association announced the latest Class B Boys and Girls Basketball Polls:

The Blue Jays claimed the Stanley Lions Basketball Tournament crown on Saturday. That effort was good enough for them to retain the top spot in the Class B boys basketball poll.

The New Town Eagles are 3-0 and received votes in the latest poll.

North Dakota Class B Boys Basketball Poll

  1. Stanley (10) 4-0
  2. Beulah (2) 1-0
  3. Bishop Ryan (1) 3-0
  4. Thompson (1) 2-0
  5. Carrington 2-0
  6. St. John 4-0
  7. Shiloh Christian 1-1
  8. Grafton 3-0
  9. Hillsboro/Central Valley (1) 2-0
  10. Oak Grove 1-0

Others Receiving Votes: Hettinger-Scranton (5-0), Maple Valley (3-0), Dickinson Trinity (3-1), New Town (3-0), Cavalier (2-0), Our Redeemer’s (3-0).

  1. Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich (14) 6-0
  2. Shiloh Christian (1) 7-0
  3. Thompson 5-1
  4. Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier 7-0
  5. LaMoure-Litchville/Marion 6-0
  6. Medina-Pingree-Buchanan 6-1
