Stanley – The Lady Pirates made things interesting for a while, but the Blue Jays would pull away in the second half en-route to a 53-34 victory.
The Blue Jays held a narrow lead at half time, but sophomore Hannah Sorenson would pour in 8 points in the fourth quarter to ensure that the Blue Jays avoided an upset.
Sorenson finished with a career high 14 points.
Taylor Dean (11 points) and Abby Iverson (10 points) both scored in double figures for the Blue Jays.
Nicole Postovit and Leah Schmidt poured in 10 points each to pace the Pirates.
The Blue Jays will be back in action on December 28th against Our Redeemers.
