Wyatt Hanson named Mr. Basketball Finalist

Stanley’s Wyatt Hanson has been named a finalist for the Mr. Basketball by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NDAPSSA).

The winner will be announced after the North Dakota Class B Basketball Championship on Saturday.

Other finalists are:

Andrew Christianson, Oak Grove
Kyler McGillis, St. John
Joe Pistorius, West Fargo
Trae Steckler, Mandan

Hanson is the first Mr. Basketball finalist in Stanley basketball history. He recently passed former Mr. Basketball winner Dustin Undlin (1994) to move into 19th on the Hoopster’s all-time Class B scorers list.
