Bismarck – The Wyndmere-Lidgerwood Warbirds trailed by ten in the fourth quarter, but Luke Foertsch and company would rally to win in overtime.
Foertsch was excellent in the second half and overtime, picking up 20 of his 27 points in the final 20 minutes.
Kaedyn Hanson was hampered with foul trouble late in the game but was strong early on for the Blue Jays. He finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 7 blocks.
Stanley’s Wyatt Hanson entered today ranked first in points and assists, and third in rebounds in the tournament. The senior standout was excellent once again for the Blue Jays, coming up with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists.
Wyatt is a finalist for the Mr. Basketball award, which will be announced after the Championship game.
