Stanley senior Abby Iverson has been named to the NDAPSSA All-State team. She becomes the first Stanley Blue Jays girls basketball player to make the All-State team in the 41 year history of the award.
Iverson has been a standout for the Stanley Blue Jays basketball team for the last three seasons. She also excelled for the Blue Jays in volleyball and track.
Iverson averaged 20 points/game during her senior season, while helping to lead the Blue Jays to their third District 16 title in the last four seasons.
Iverson eclipsed the 1000 point mark in January. She finished her career with 1,259 points.
She was a three time All-District 16 selection, she also won the Region 8 Senior Athlete of the Year this season.
Trenton’s Kaity Hove was also named to the All-State team. This is the second consecutive season that the sophomore received all-state honors.
New Town junior Tyleigh Brady made the All-State team, she has been one of the top players in Region 8 for the last two seasons.
