Local athletes shine at North Dakota State Track Meet

Bismarck- Kenmare’s Jacob Rodin turned in a blistering time (49.49) to win the 400 meter dash at the North Dakota State Track and Field Meet. Fellow blue chipper Wyatt Hanson finished fourth in the 400 meters.

Rodin also finished in second place in the 800 meters with a time of 1.56.83.

Hanson added a runner-up finish in the discus (150′ 4″)

Feshman Noah Rolfe (Stanley) finished 3rd in the 1600 meters. He also finished 5th in the 3200 meters (10.00.07), his time set a new school record).

New Towns Robert White finished 2nd in the 1600 meters, Jaiven Hale was 4th.

Powers Lake finished fourth in the 4×800 relay (Kyle Van Berkom, Terek Enget, Noah Schroeder, and Luiz Passos)

Junior Hayley Schmidt (Stanley) finished 8th in the Javelin.

Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood’s Beau Driscoll took second in the high jump (6’5″)

A trio of New Town runners finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (Jaiven Hale, Jalen Chase, and Robert White) in the 3200 meters.

Stanley’s 4X400 Meter Relay team (Duawalder, McIntosh, Rolfe, Hanson) took 8th place.
