Hankinson – South Border freshman Emily St. Aubin made history on Wednesday by becoming the first golfer in North Dakota prep history to win three consecutive state titles.
St. Aubin finished 6 strokes ahead of Oak Grove’s Lauren Cain.
Heart River took home the team title, the Cougars finished 26 strokes ahead of Linton-HMB.
The young Stanley Blue Jays were led by 8th grader Caiti Hennesey who finished in a tie for 60th place. Hennesey and fellow 8th grader Kaisa Mortenson were two of the few junior high golfers to compete at the State Tournament.
Mackenna Hanson (So.) finished in tie for 79th, Jayde Omar (So.) finished 95th, and Izzy Gilbertson (Jr. ) finished in 105th place.
